Kick off your adventure with a morning departure from Ulaanbaatar. Drive east into the wild and arrive at Khar Zurkhnii Khukh Lake—the sacred site where Temuujin earned the title Genghis Khan, igniting the rise of the Mongol Empire.
Hike to scenic viewpoints, touch history at the royal lineage monuments, and breathe in the crisp steppe air.
As night falls, enjoy a warm meal and nomadic-style relaxation at your ger camp.

After breakfast, we continue toward Gun Galuut Nature Reserve, one of Mongolia’s most beautiful areas with wetlands, rolling hills, and wildlife such as Argali wild sheep.
On the way, we will have a warm visit to a nomadic family — learning how they raise livestock and preserve traditions unchanged for generations.
At Steppe Nomads Camp, enjoy lunch and then spend your afternoon with optional adventures:
Horseback riding
Kayaking or rafting on the Kherlen River
Hiking or cycling
Optional wildlife trip to spot Argali sheep
Dinner will be served as the sun sets over the river valley.
