Ulaanbaatar City Tour
We offer you the most highlighted sightseeing tour around Ulaanbaatar city
Starting from Terelj National Park, this five-day horse trek crosses rivers, climbs through pine and larch forest, and descends into the remote valley of Gunjin Soum — home to the mysterious Gunj Temple ruins, a forgotten monastery tucked into the mountains far from any road. The route takes you through some of Mongolia's most varied terrain: open grasslands perfect for a long gallop on day two, dense forest tracks as you push deeper into the wilderness on day three, and the quiet revelation of the temple itself on day four. Each night you'll camp beside rivers and under open sky, guided by Stepperiders' experienced team and welcomed by nomadic families who share their fire and their stories. On your final day, stop at the iconic Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue before returning to Ulaanbaatar — the largest equestrian statue in the world, a fitting full stop to five days spent entirely on horseback.
