Spend a full day riding across the vast steppe surrounding Stepperiders Camp, where soft trails, open hills, and quietly grazing herds create the most authentic Mongolian riding experience you can have without leaving the city behind entirely. You'll be matched with a calm, well-trained Mongolian horse and guided by experienced horsemen who know every trail. After a morning ride, return to our camp restaurant for a freshly prepared lunch, then head out again in the afternoon on a different trail for one last look at the landscape. There are no shortcuts, no crowds, and no tourist theatre here — just horses, steppe, and sky. Suitable for all levels, including complete beginners.

Tour Itineraries
Day Itinerary – Stepperiders Day Horseback Adventure
8:00 AM – Pick-up from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar
Your guide will meet you at your hotel and drive you to Stepperiders Camp. The short journey leads you from the city into quiet countryside.
Arrival and Welcome at Stepperiders
Enjoy coffee, tea, and light snacks upon arrival. You will meet your guides, settle in, and be matched with a horse suited to your riding level.
9:30–10:00 AM – Preparation and Safety Briefing
We assist you with helmets, half-chaps, and saddle adjustments. Your guide explains basic riding techniques and introduces the route for the day.
10:00 AM – Morning Ride
We begin riding from Stepperiders Camp into the surrounding open steppe, gentle hills, and scenic viewpoints.
The landscape offers relaxed riding with optional trotting or cantering.
Expect wide valleys, herds grazing freely, and peaceful views of the countryside.
1:00 PM – Lunch at the Stepperiders Restaurant
Return to camp for a freshly prepared lunch served at our restaurant.
Enjoy a hot meal and take time to rest before continuing the afternoon ride.
2:00 PM – Afternoon Ride
After lunch, we head out again on a different trail, exploring new areas around the camp.
The afternoon route offers soft light, rolling terrain, and expansive views—an ideal way to complete your day on horseback.
4:00 PM – After-Ride Refreshments
Back at camp, enjoy drinks and light snacks while watching the horses being unsaddled and released.
It is a peaceful moment as they roll, stretch, and return to join their herd.
5:30 PM – Return to Ulaanbaatar
We drive you back to the city and drop you off at your hotel, ending a memorable day on the Mongolian steppe.
