Comment: Mendee, Thanks very much for the wonderful experience. Everything was perfect: great accommodations, great food, and very professional staff. Mendee did an excellent job with me as a novice with horses and showed a lot of patience. Tovoo was fantastic and has a super family whose hospitality made my trip special. I had a blast on this visit and I'm looking forward to my next booking with this group of sincere and friendly people. Stepperiders is a fantastic company. Try them!

Comment: I first made contact with Stepperiders nearly 3 months ago. I came to them with dozens of questions about how to do a solo horse trip through Mongolia. They were extremely informative and invited me to stay at Stepperiders while I beame accustomed to Mongolia. After spending a week with Stepperiders, I feel very comfortable setting off on my own. I have been introduced to customs and ways of life I would have otherwise stumbled over throughout my trip. Thank you very much Stepperiders.

Comment: Been travelling for 3 weeks and the last 4 days have definitely been the highlight. The hostpitality and genunine friendliness of everyone here has made the stay unforgettable. They took us on an awesome 3 day trek into the mountains. We got to canter on the horses which was really a great feeling. It seems everyone here has a special bond with each other and this special area is so different and so beautiful. Especially the amazing food and interesting tea.

Comment: This has been by far my best ger camp experience so far in Mongolia. Your organisational skills shone through. Everything was comfortable and enjoyable, from the clean ger, the nice bed sheets, toilet paper in the loo and great food - this is all before I mention the kind hospitality and care you took of me horseriding. Thanks for a great time and all the best.

Comment: I wanted to try independent travelling by horse in Mongolia... and I discovered Stepperiders! I thought that meeting them would be a good preparation for getting out there on my own... Err, I was wrong: It was AWESOME !!! Definitely stay a couple of days with them, and they will let you know all that you need about preparing a trip, buying horses, choosing your equipment, behaving with the mongolians...Cheers all, Stepperiders is bound to succeed!!!

Comment: Well what a surprise, I had a great time too! Though my stay was very short, I think it quickly gave me a good view of what Mongol/nomad life might be like. Stepperiders seemed extremely well set up; the family team were all very hospitable and I was impressed at the thoroughness and attention to detail of the business.I think it was the ideal intro to Mongolia and horses! All the best.

Comment: Visit to Steppe Riders was the highlight of a 5 week trip taking in Russia, Mongolia and China. Cantering across the Steppe is something I won't forget in a hurry, likewise the friendly atmosphere, hospitality and stunning scenery. Comment: Many many thanks to Stepperiders for helping to make my summer in Mongolia last year absolutely brilliant. It was aboard Stepperiders' horses and in evening conversations inside the ger over a steaming bowl of Baynaa's great cooking that I learned the most about life in the Mongolian countryside. Thanks guys, I'm hoping to come back to ride with you all again soon!

Comment: Thank you guys so much for your hospitality, comfortable accommodations (especially the toilets, like them very much, thx Fitz!), delicious food (Baina is really a great cook!), and everything that you have done for all of us here, not to mention your expertise in horseriding (when it comes to stamina which is very much needed in guiding 1st timer like us who were totally inexperienced in horseriding). All of us really had a great time and enjoyed our stay at Zuunmod!

Comment: From the comfortable clean gers to the delicious food cooked to the breathtaking view in the mountains during our horse ride, our 1 day 1 night stay was an experience that we will never forget. Thank you for making our first horse riding experience such a memorable one, for treating us with such warmth & hospitality, for teaching us the Mongolian song, and for being such wonderful friends to us. Stepperiders is a very professional & organized company, and is definitely worth a try. All the best!

Comment: Absolutely, without question, THE best holiday and cultural experience I've ever had!! Mendee, Baynaa and Tovoo superbly, and miraculously, combine organization, professionalism and a warm, family atmosphere... I could almost run away from home!!^^ I recommend Stepperiders wholeheartedly to anyone with a penchant for great people, gorgeous country and, thoughtfully dispensed, new experiences. Mongolian culture, as introduced by this amazing family, is both fascinating and inspiring. Thanks!

Comment: I really recommend Stepperiders if you are planning to do solo horse trekking. Unless you speak Mongolian, it`s going to be very hard to buy the horses and tack etc. without someone helping you ( or you will end up paying much more) Before my trek I stayed few days with Stepperiders and we covered all the things I needed to know when I was riding alone. They really worked a lot to find good horses for me that would be able to do the job. I stayed there few days also after the trek and felt more like a family member than a customer.

Comment: Mendee and Stepperiders were the highlight of my second trip to Mongolia. The riding is fun and beautiful for both novices and experienced riders, Mendee and his group are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the introduction to Mongolia and Mongolians is wonderful and unique. I would highly recommend making a Stepperiders trek part of your adventure in Mongolia! I look forward to returning next summer.

Comment: Thanks everyone at Steepriders who made my 5-days with you really great. Facilites at base camp are super - I really needed that hot shower at the end of the 5-days trek!! Good food too and plenty of it - and I slept really well both in the Ger and in the tent when on trek. To ride through Mongolia is truely a unique experience - so thanks Mendee and Baynaa and of course our trek support driver and the locals we met en-route. Best wishes for the future and good luck with improvements planned.

Comment: Many thanks to Mendee, Bayna and family for making my 5 day trip so memorable. I had lots of fun and adventures and really enjoyed my camping ride through this magnificent part of Mongolia - and all a stone's throw from UB. I certainly hope to return to ride again with Steppe Riders. Good luck in the future to this hardworking and welcoming family.

Comment: Mendee and Amaraa, thank you so much for your help in showing me such a good time in Mongolia. I was one of the first people on the Arhangai trek, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The family were amazing, the scenery was beautiful and everyone was very patient about teaching me to ride horses. I would very highly recommend going a bit deeper into Mongolia to see so much more in a much less touristy area. Thank you Mendee!

Comment: There is no way more rewarding nor appropriate to see the rugged Mongolian landscape, than firmly in the saddle of a reliable, sensitive Mongolian horse. Mendee, Biner and their team, made this experience for me, the best it could be! Their professionalism, their wonderful guides, and generous hospitality was exemplary. Thankyou guys! I hope to see you again in the future.

Comment: In July 2008 I was the last day of the Naadaam Festival and some following days at Stepperiders. never sat on a horse before - and it was great!! (With good care and training by the stuff for the riding!) The best way to experience this wonderful country! The atmosphere and hospitality of Mendee, his family and the stuff was really like feeling welcome and home, honestly! I can really recommend a stay! Horse-riding, relaxing, walking, ...just beeing there!
